Ci1 is cooled with water and air, through an evaporation process. It uses very little water: for example the 5.1 kw Ci1 uses only 9 litres of water/hour when in full operation compared to 350 litres/hour of a normal 5.1 kw water-cooled chiller. That is why the latter type, unlike Ci1, cannot be installed where there are no alternative water sources other than town’s water. Ci1 ensures high energy efficiency: E.E.R. between 3 and 3.3: one of the highest in its category, far better than any other air-cooled chiller. High efficiency means that, with other conditions being equal, the energy consumption is reduced significantly.

Ci1 is under total electronic control to program every operating phase. This enables fully automatic operation without the need for continuous human intervention. It is equipped with two microprocessor electronic cards: the first one controls the operation of the various parts of the refrigeration circuit, the second one manages water circulation and replacement to ensure the condenser is kept constantly clean.

Ci1 will look good anywhere you place it. Typically this will be in your basement, next to the boiler, in the kitchen, garage or any other room. But also outdoors: in the yard, on a balcony, anywhere. When installed indoors it does not require an outdoor unit, all it needs are two small holes, which means aesthetic preservation of buildings and respect for our architectural heritage.
That is why Ci1 is not subject to any installation restrictions and normally requires no permit where town or condominium regulations prohibit the fitting of any device (even small sized ones) on the outside of the building.

Ci1 is available in 3 different models with different power ratings, to suit any space and home need: 5.1 kw, 6.7 kw or 9.6 kw refrigeration capacity. It can be used for homes, commercial premises, offices, hotels, always operating in noiseless conditions. Depending on the power rating, it can supply a number of terminals in a number of rooms, to provide global cooling in the environment where you live and work.

530x420x1270 in the 5.1 kw version and 530x420x1440 in the 6.7 kw and 9.6 kw versions: these are small, compact dimensions. Ci1 is only slightly taller than a standard floor or wall-mounted boiler and can be optimally installed next to it or under it, in the same room.

Apart from the normal plumbing and electric connections, the indoor installation of Ci1 requires only two holes in the wall. The insertion of the external grilles flush with the wall to protect the ducts is made from the inside, with a patented folded grille system. This eliminates all problems associated with this operation, especially on high floors where the use of cranes or scaffolding would be required.
Ci1 can be installed on the floor or wall mounted, in a corner or along one of the walls in the same room where the boiler is located. A special fan makes it possible to duct air intake and discharge over an 8 metre stretch; this means it is not indispensable to install Ci1 along one of the perimeter walls. Air ducts can be fitted on either of 3 sides (rear, right and left) thus making the positioning of the unit even easier.
