The energy label that accompanies all air conditioners is a guarantee and reference point for all Olimpia Splendid products. At the end of 2004 the new Energy Label became compulsory for air conditioners, to make it easier for consumers to find out about efficiency and, more importantly, compare the performance of units of different brands. The scale goes from A (best class) to D (worst class).
Delegated Regulation EU 626/2011, in force as of 1 January 2013 has introduced important changes, shown in the illustration below. In particular it establishes that energy efficiency must be calculated on the basis of the external temperature of the area where the building to be cooled is located (seasonal EER and COP: SEER and SCOP) and requires maximum indoor and outdoor sound power to be indicated.
