Luxury accommodation in the province of Brindisi

Invisible comfort and high efficiency for an exclusive hospitality experience in the heart of Puglia

Location: San Vito dei Normanni (BR) - Italy
Building type: Hospitality facility
Climate zone: Moderate, C (IT)
Energy class: A2
System: Air-to-water heat pumps combined with fan coil terminals

The construction of a newly built farmhouse intended for luxury hospitality, located in San Vito dei Normanni, involved the design of a high energy efficiency system for climate control and domestic hot water production, with special focus on guest comfort and energy consumption optimization.
The project involved a farmhouse consisting of 6 rooms and common areas, designed to achieve high energy efficiency standards, attaining energy class A2.

The self-contained HVAC system integrates photovoltaics and solar thermal power and was designed to ensure high domestic hot water output capable of meeting the needs of the 6 rooms, maximizing the integration between the different renewable sources.
It was also essential to ensure rapid availability of indoor comfort, allowing guests to quickly adjust room conditions according to their needs and preferences.

The system was built using 2 Sherpa and Sherpa Aquadue heat pumps, combined with a 500-liter hybrid solar storage tank and a 50-liter buffer tank for domestic hot water and climate control management.
Choosing the Sherpa Aquadue heat pump made it possible to reach DHW temperatures up to 75°C, increasing energy self-consumption and guaranteeing greater hot water availability even during peak demand periods. Furthermore, the system ensures high performance in terms of rapid warm-up times.

To distribute thermal comfort throughout the rooms, 13 Bi2 Naked recessed fan coils and fan radiators were installed, chosen for their ability to seamlessly integrate into the facility's spaces while delivering high performance and maximum aesthetic discretion.
