Fully electric air conditioning and optimized comfort control for office spaces
Client: Habitat Constructions
Location: Herstal – Belgium
Building type: Offices
Climate zone: Moderate
System: Air-to-air heat pumps
The construction of a new office building in Herstal, Belgium, involved the installation of a full-electric air-to-air heat pump HVAC system, designed to ensure ambient comfort and high energy efficiency throughout the workspaces.
The building was equipped with a system composed of multiple Nexya air-to-air heat pump outdoor units, configured to flexibly serve the different areas of the office building.
The main requirement was to deliver efficient and modular climate control for the offices, ensuring uniform comfort in all work areas and flexible management of thermal loads based on space utilization.
It was also essential to optimize energy consumption in both cooling and heating modes, maintaining a high level of reliability and system operational continuity.
The system is structured with 4 Nexya Monobloc air-to-air heat pumps and 16 cassette indoor units organized in a double-twin configuration to guarantee uniform air distribution and precise comfort control across all work environments.
This solution allows efficient management of summer and winter climate control, with special emphasis on system modularity and energy consumption optimization.
