The construction of a single-family wooden house located in Sassocorvaro, in the province of Ancona, involved the installation of a high-efficiency energy system for domestic hot water production and space climate control, integrated into a platform frame timber structure.
The building, featuring a load-bearing structure in glulam beams and a ventilated roof, was designed with a focus on living comfort and energy sustainability.

The choice of Sherpa Aquadue was driven by the need to ensure high performance even during high temperatures. Featuring a dual refrigeration circuit, the system guarantees reliable domestic hot water production even under challenging climate conditions, while also allowing heat recovery during peak efficiency periods over the long summer months.
The primary requirement was to deliver a highly efficient and compact system. It was essential to discreetly integrate the system within the lightweight structure of a single-family wooden home, maintaining high comfort levels and low acoustic impact without compromising aesthetics or functionality.

The HVAC system is based on a Sherpa Aquadue Tower air-to-water heat pump, dedicated to DHW production and heating system management.
Indoor comfort distribution is handled by 2 Bi2 Air SLR terminal fan coils, chosen to ensure efficiency, quiet operation, and seamless integration within the wooden home.
