Olimpia Splendid presents the latest evolution of heat pump air-conditioning, which satisfies cooling, heating, purification and air exchange needs with a single product

The year that has just ended has seen further growth in the heat pump air-conditioning market and an increase in specific demand for maximum efficiency solutions. In this context, Olimpia Splendid has positioned itself as one of the first alternative brands to the top players, with an increasingly complete range that will be enriched by an important new addition in 2024.
As also emerged from the recent survey (commissioned by Olimpia Splendid and conducted by Toluna) on Italians' experience of indoor comfort, air conditioners are also chosen for their multifunctionality, i.e. the presence of several functions in a single appliance. For almost 4 out of 10 Italians (37%) this is in fact a feature that is assessed when purchasing, after efficiency (64%) and quietness (57%). Olimpia Splendid's R&D department, in its search for new functionalities that could turn the air conditioner into a complete air treatment solution, has focused on a new A++ class technology that not only cools, heats and dehumidifies, but also significantly reduces the concentration of pollutants in the room.
Fresh Air technology and the 4 stages of filtration
Alysea's innovation can be summed up in one key word: Fresh Air. In fact, Alysea's new single-split air conditioners allow air to be drawn in from the outside - one of the measures considered by the scientific community to be the most effective against indoor pollution - without having to make additional holes in the wall. Fresh Air technology allows both the wiring of the two units (indoor and outdoor) and the passage of 60 m3/h of air, even through a single 70 mm diameter hole. And that's not all: to avoid uncomfortable temperature fluctuations and eliminate allergens, the air coming in from outside is brought to a set temperature and treated before being released into the room. In fact, in a single pack of filters (almost 2 cm thick), Alysea incorporates 4 different levels of air filtration - pre-filtration, HEPA 11, high density and silver ions - which make it possible to eliminate bacteria with an efficiency of over 99% and ultra-fine particles (PM 2.5) with an efficiency of 94%. Finally, to prevent the accumulation of dust, dirt and other impurities in the indoor unit, the evaporator is subjected to high temperature defrosting, defrosting and drying cycles.

With Alysea, indoor air quality is always under control. The onboard colour display allows you to view the concentration of pollutants in the air in real time, in an intuitive way, and to activate the air conditioner as soon as the quality drops. But the display is not the only means of control: the new monosplit air conditioners can also be managed remotely and outside the home using Apple and Android smartphones and tablets. Thanks to the integrated Wi-Fi and the OS Home app, the air conditioner can be switched on and off and its main functions can be set. One of them is Gentle Wind Mode, which brings fresh, purified air into the room with a gentle breeze. The more than 1,000 micro-holes in Alysea's internal fins make it possible to bypass the traditional direct airflow and create a pleasant indoor climate even in the most sensitive situations, such as in bedrooms or where children are present.
