Olimpia Splendid presents the new Sherpa SHW S2 heat pump water heater, which has been created as a more efficient and sustainable alternative to the traditional water heater (gas or electricity) for the production of DHW in residential and other settings. .
Available in two different sizes - 202 and 251 litres - it is one of the most energy-efficient solutions, not only because of its intrinsic technology (heat pump), but also because of its top-level performance in its category (class A+ in average climate conditions, with load profile L for the 200 and XL for the 260S) and its easy integration with other water heating systems: the Sherpa SHW S2 260S version can in fact work with a second source of energy from solar panels or another generator.
There is also, as standard, a 1.5 kW electric heater as a back-up, which ensures constant temperature DHW even in extreme conditions, and a contact to best control integration with photovoltaics, through which it is possible to raise the machine's set point above the standard one, thus making it possible to accumulate the energy overproduced by the panels, resulting in lower DHW production costs and achieving maximum energy savings.
Finally, the compact, slim design deserves special attention, reducing the overall dimensions to only 630 mm, making it easier to place inside the technical room.
