Dolceclima portable air conditioners: even smaller footprint, for summer comfort to take with you

Olimpia Splendid renews the Dolceclima Compact family with a new design that reduces the overall size of the air conditioner without losing cooling power.

Called the Dolceclima Compact S, this new range of ultra-compact portable air conditioners will be available from summer 2025. Five new models have been designed to offer flexibility in distribution policies and product exclusivity, and will replace a range that is already popular with customers. “Last season confirmed our role as one of the leading players in the portable air conditioning sector,” explains Roberta Vanni, Olimpia Splendid's marketing manager. “The restyling of the Dolceclima Compact family stems from the desire to strengthen this positioning, further improving our offering in terms of both volume and value in the most important power sizes on the market.”

It has a floor space of just 29x29 cm

The new design involved both engineering and aesthetic aspects. Olimpia Splendid has managed to reduce the footprint by 18% compared to the previous range without compromising the cooling power. This makes it possible to bring summer comfort to even the smallest living spaces, while improving efficiency and reducing environmental impact. Using fewer raw materials and transporting smaller volumes also makes the production and commercial processes more efficient.

With up to 10,000 BTU/h and the best user experience

Available in different colours and with two power sizes — 8,000 and 10,000 BTU/h — the new Dolceclima Compact S can be controlled from the machine itself via the digital control panel or from the remote control with temperature sensor (ideal for correct comfort control at the point where the occupants of the room are located) and from the OS Comfort mobile app, thanks to the integrated wi-fi in the most powerful size.

It's air conditioning you can always take with you!

‘In 2024, the market for portable air conditioners grew compared to the previous year,’ Vanni continues. ‘Among the reasons for the success of this product category are not only the lower prices compared to fixed installations, but also the flexibility of use. The ability to move the air conditioner to different rooms in your home during the day, or to a beach house or new apartment, is undoubtedly an advantage. In this context, the compact design makes the product even easier to transport and relocate, which is why we are confident that the new Dolceclima Compact S family will be well received by the market.”
